There is one more thing to note here. Glycolic acid treatment can be continued for a period of over six months, after every two to four weeks. Salicylic acid is far milder than glycolic acid and as such can be used on a daily basis.

It involves the use of anesthetic cream in the affected area and using sterile instruments to open the top to remove the plugged cells and sebum. After that you would have to apply antibiotic cream to the affected area. What must be understood is that you should not try it at your home in any case. Squeezing and pickling is sure to result in aggravation of the acne and might also result in permanent scar.

The same goes with drainage physical acne treatment. It involves cure of cysts. As you must be aware of that cysts can prove to be very painful and might result in scar, it is essential that acne treatment must be undertaken. Drainage is one of the most effective ways to accomplish this. But it should always be undertaken in a dermatologists clinic with sterile instruments. And yes in no case you should try drainage at home by yourself.
